Tammie Smelko

Tammie Smelko is an experienced administrative professional with a strong background in executive support and office coordination. Currently serving as an Executive Assistant in the Office of Government Relations and Advocacy at the University of Pittsburgh since September 2024, Tammie previously held the position of Executive Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer at RQM+ from May 2021 to September 2024. In that role, Tammie provided comprehensive administrative support, including travel and meeting management, inventory control, and event coordination, while overseeing budgets for travel and non-billable events. Between March 2010 and January 2021, Tammie worked at Repsol as an Executive Assistant, Office Coordinator, and HR Coordinator, supporting the VP of the Marcellus Business Unit and managing HR activities for a team of 20. Tammie holds an Associate degree in Accounting from Webster College, Fairmont State, earned between 1987 and 1989.
