Charles Rands is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in the mining and mineral exploration industry. Currently serving as a Senior Business Development Geologist at RSC Mining & Mineral Exploration since October 2020, Rands previously held roles such as Resource Development Geologist - Underground at OceanaGold Corporation and Minerals Advisor at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment. Rands has a solid background in climate change analysis from a tenure as Senior Analyst at the Ministry for the Environment, coupled with significant independent contracting experience across multiple countries in various geological roles. Rands possesses strong skills in geological mapping, drilling program management, sampling program oversight, and geological database management, complemented by a Master of Science in Geology from the University of Otago.
