Michael Gazley is an experienced geoscientist currently serving as General Manager Geoscience and Principal Consultant Geochemistry at RSC since April 2018. In addition, Michael holds leadership roles at AusIMM as the Immediate Past Chair and former Chair of the New Zealand Branch since November 2019. Prior to these positions, Michael worked at CSIRO from October 2013 to March 2018 as a Senior Research Scientist and Research Scientist, and at Barrick Gold Corporation from June 2008 to October 2013 as a Project Geologist and Mine Geologist. Academic credentials include a PhD in Geology, a Post Graduate Diploma in Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Geology, all obtained from Victoria University of Wellington between 2004 and 2011.
