Chamila Widanapathirana

Chamila Widanapathirana is a seasoned testing professional with extensive experience in quality assurance and testing across various industries. Currently serving as Test Lead at RSPCA since November 2024, Chamila previously held the role of Senior QA Test Analyst at The Rank Group plc, where responsibilities included leading testing functions for the UK's largest multi-channel casino operator. Prior to that, Chamila spent over a decade at Virtusa, progressing through multiple quality assurance roles including Associate Quality Assurance Manager, where a team of 50 was managed to deliver comprehensive testing services for BT. With a solid educational background, earning a Bachelor’s degree with honors in Information Systems from The Manchester Metropolitan University, Chamila has demonstrated expertise in test strategy development, team leadership, and product validation across diverse platforms and environments.
