Cornelius Strittmatter has a range of experience in the media industry. Cornelius began their career as a freelance journalist with the Saarbrücker Zeitung in 2011, where they worked until 2015. From 2012 to 2015, they also held a position as a student employee at Super RTL. In 2015, Strittmatter joined RTL Deutschland as a trainee and worked there until 2016. Cornelius then progressed through various roles at the company, including Junior Editor in Social Media/Communication from 2017 to 2017, Editor in Social Media/Communication from 2018 to 2019, Head of Social Media & Community Management from 2019 to 2021, and Head of Social Media Sport from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Social Media Show & Entertainment at RTL Deutschland since April 2022.
Cornelius Strittmatter pursued their education at the Deutsche Sporthochschule Köln. From 2008 to 2011, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Sportmanagement und Sportkommunikation. Cornelius furthered their studies and obtained a Master's degree in Sport, Medien und Kommunikationsforschung from the same institution, graduating between 2012 and 2014.
