Irena Bauer has held various roles in the field of social media news and magazine. Irena is currently the Head of Social Media News & Magazine at RTL Deutschland GmbH since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at RTL Interactive GmbH, starting as an Online-Redakteurin in June 2013 and progressing to roles such as Multimedia-Redakteurin and Teamlead Social Media News/Magazine. Before joining RTL Interactive GmbH, Irena worked as a Praktikant at the same company in 2011. Irena also has experience as a Freier Journalist at Dürener Zeitung from June 2006 to June 2007.

Irena Bauer attended Macromedia Köln from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Kulturjournalismus.
