Angus McCoubrey began their career in 2007 as a Research Intern at Kudzu. Angus then worked as an Account Planner at Starfish Brand Experience Design from 2008 to 2010. After that, they joined Deutsch as an Account Planner from 2010 to 2012. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Senior Brand Planner at Arnold Worldwide. Angus then moved to 360i as a Strategist from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, they joined Grey Group as a Senior Brand Planner. Angus then worked at Anomaly as a Planning Director from 2015 to 2017. Angus is currently employed at Red Tettemer O'Connell + Partners, where they have held various roles including Director of Brand Strategy from 2018 to 2020, Group Strategy Director from 2020 to 2022, and currently serves as the VP and Head of Strategy.
Angus McCoubrey's education history begins in 1999 when they attended J.R. Masterman for an unknown degree or field of study. Angus then went on to study at Middlebury College from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a degree in History and Philosophy. After a break of several years, Angus pursued their interest in music and attended ICMP - The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance from 2017 to 2018, obtaining a Higher Diploma in Guitar.
