James Burns

James Burns has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Software Developer at RTS Labs starting in 2016. James then moved on to work as a Software Developer at Field1st in 2019. Prior to their software development roles, James worked as a Mechanical Engineer in the Navy from 2014 to 2016. James also gained research experience as a Graduate Researcher and Undergraduate Researcher at Virginia Tech from 2011 to 2014.

James Burns completed their education at Virginia Tech. From 2008 to 2012, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Science and Mechanics as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics. Following this, James pursued a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2012 to 2014.
