Bruce Rodgerson began their work experience in 1989 as an Engineer at Rural Water Corporation Victoria. Bruce then transitioned to Rubicon Water in 1995, where they held various roles including Chief Operating Officer until June 2010. From June 2010 onwards, they served as the Chief Executive Officer at Rubicon Water.

Bruce Rodgerson attended Yarra Valley from 1977 to 1983, where they obtained their HSC. Bruce then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Civil Engineering at RMIT University from 1984 to 1988.
