Avirudh Kaushik is a Software Engineer at Cisco since September 2022 and a Sr Software Engineer at Ruckus Networks since April 2020, where responsibilities include introducing new VxLAN features and SNMP functionalities in ICX products. Previously, Avirudh held the position of Member of Technical Staff at TidalScale, focusing on establishing a FreeBSD build environment and maintaining benchmark test scripts. Avirudh's academic experience includes roles as Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Santa Cruz, with a focus on Software Defined Networking (SDN). Early career experiences include internships at Tevatron Technologies and RT Vision Technologies, as well as positions as Vice President of the Lancaster University Indian Society and Assistant Manager at SPAR. Avirudh holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from UC Santa Cruz, a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science & Electrical Engineering from Lancaster University, and has foundational education in Computer Systems Networking from Manipal Institute of Technology.
