Edmund Chen has extensive experience in mechanical engineering, currently serving as Senior Manager of Hardware Engineering at Ruckus Networks since June 2011. In this role, Edmund oversees product requirement reviews, manages mechanical design from concept to production, and leads teams of engineers and technicians. Prior to this, Edmund held several positions at BAE Systems, including Senior Mechanical Engineer, where responsibilities included leading the design and analysis of combat vehicle cooling systems. Earlier experience includes roles at ITT (EDO Corporation) as the Mechanical Engineering Lead for an Integrated Product Team and as a Mechanical Engineer at Brooks Automation, focusing on the design of semiconductor robot arms. Edmund holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
