Harkirat Singh is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in wireless technology and system design. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Ruckus Wireless since August 2011, Harkirat specializes in architectural design and driver development for the first 802.11ac product, as well as algorithms for indoor location and DFS channel management over mesh links. Prior to this, Harkirat worked at Samsung Electronics from May 2005 to August 2011 as a Staff Engineer, contributing to the design and standardization of next-generation WLAN and WPAN technologies. Harkirat also gained valuable experience as a Research Intern at Intel Corporation in 2004, focusing on protocols for heterogeneous wireless sensor networks. Harkirat holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Portland State University and a BE in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
