Dr. David Meyer PT, DPT, CSCS is a highly experienced sports physical therapist and mental performance coach currently serving as the lead physiotherapist for Rugby New York since January 2022. Dr. Meyer is also the founder and owner of Pipeline Performance Inc. and the CEO of VideoHab, a startup focused on video-based exercise programs. Previous experience includes roles as Minor League Medical/Rehab Coordinator for the St. Louis Cardinals and Sports Physical Therapist Clinical Specialist Resident at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Dr. Meyer has a Doctor of Physical Therapy from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University at Albany.

Rugby New York is a professional rugby team entering its 6th season competing in Major League Rugby (MLR) - a professional league representing the highest level of rugby competition in North America. We are New York's first and only professional rugby team. Playing our home matches in front of our passionate fan base,our season spans from March – August and consists of 16 games – 8 home and 8 on the road. Our vision is to bring the excitement of professional Rugby to the New York sport landscape and use Rugby’s core values of teamwork, respect and discipline, to educate, inspire and connect with our community. Rugby United New York strives to unite the entire rugby community and enrich it at every level throughout the region.
