Daniel Rockenbach graduated with a degree in Business Administration from PUC-RS with a postgraduate degree in Marketing from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and AMP from the University of Wharton. Rockenbach has been with Rumo since 2010, when he was appointed Director of Operations and Commercial, a position which he held until July 2013, when he became CEO of Rumo. Throughout his career, Rockenbach worked in companies such as Ambev, ALL and MRS Logística. At Rumo, he also led the operational turnaround of Operação Norte from 2015 to 2018, and is currently Vice President of Operations.
