Greg Smithies is a seasoned investment professional specializing in climate technology and sustainability. As a Partner and Co-Head of Climate Tech at Fifth Wall since November 2020, Greg focuses on investing in technologies aimed at decarbonizing the built environment. In addition, Greg serves as an investor at multiple companies, including Runwise, Mojave Energy Systems, Inc., and various others, contributing to innovations that enhance building efficiency and significantly reduce energy consumption. Greg's educational background includes a BS in Economics and Finance from The Wharton School and a BS in Engineering with a focus on Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
