Jonathan Carter currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Sales at Rural 1st®, a position held since June 2020. Prior to this role, Jonathan held the title of Assistant Vice President of Growing Forward and Lending Partnerships at Farm Credit Mid-America from December 2011 to June 2020, where responsibility included leading a team focused on supporting young and beginning farmers through customized loan programs and financial education. Jonathan also managed partnerships with AgDirect and Farm Credit Leasing to provide diverse product offerings. Earlier in his career, Jonathan worked as a Horticulture Supervisor at Morehead State University from June 2009 to December 2011. Jonathan is an alumnus of Morehead State University, having completed studies there from 2005 to 2009.
