Tommy Nicholson, CPA, has a diverse work experience starting as an Audit Intern at Deloitte in 2014. Tommy then interned at O'Neill & Gaspardo LLC as a Financial Services Intern in 2014 and as a Litigation Support Intern in 2015.
Upon joining Deloitte as an Audit Staff in 2015, Tommy worked their way up to become an Audit & Assurance Senior in 2017 and later became a Manager in 2020.
In 2021, Tommy transitioned to Rush Street Interactive as an Accounting Operations Manager and was promoted to Director of Accounting Operations in 2023.
Tommy Nicholson, CPA, completed a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2014. Tommy then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2015. In addition to their academic qualifications, Tommy has obtained certifications in #CrucialConversations from the Institute for Personal Leadership in May 2019 and as a Certified Public Accountant from The Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS) in 2016.
