Mike Fontenot

Mike Fontenot is a seasoned petroleum engineer currently serving as a Sr. Production Engineer at Rushmore Resource Partners since March 2023. Previously, Mike was the Director of Asset Management at CAMS from February 2019 to March 2023, where responsibilities included managing field operations, optimizing artificial lift systems, and overseeing production reporting. With extensive experience in various engineering roles across multiple companies, including Australis Oil and Gas and Halcon Resources Corporation, Mike has a strong background in business planning, project management, and well performance monitoring. Mike holds a Master of Engineering degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and a B.S. in Pre-Med from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
