Jacky Wright

Jacky Wright is a globally recognized technology executive and advocate for inclusive innovation, with over three decades of experience leading digital transformation across the private and public sectors.

She most recently served as Chief Technology and Platform Officer at McKinsey & Company, where she led the firm’s tech strategy, AI transformation and technology modernization efforts for 40,000+ colleagues globally. Her role(s) as Corporate Vice President and Chief Digital Officer at Microsoft helped commercial clients adopt emerging technologies and previously led the IT organization for the company. Her leadership track record spans other senior executive technology roles at BP and G.E. Jacky also has extensive public sector experience having served as Chief Digital & Information Officer for one of the largest UK government departments HMRC (Revenue & Customs) during Brexit and serving on various cross government task forces.

Jacky brings public and not for profit boardroom expertise in Strategy, Technology (including Cyber & AI), ESG and enterprise-wide transformation. She has served on the boards of Exelixis, nVent and Russell Reynolds; on Renumeration, Governance, Nomination and Risk committees. Her charity and trustee work includes Prostate Cancer UK, Amos Bursary and institutions Harvey Mudd College and Oxford Martin School at the University of Oxford. Jacky serves on the Linklaters Advisory Council is also a patron of the British Council for Culture and Arts.

A passionate champion of women in STEM, Jacky actively mentors emerging leaders, startups and support initiatives that expand access to technology education and digital fluency globally. She is a proud supporter of the African Academy School in Ghana, providing education for young girls to help open career pathways in STEM fields.

Widely recognized for her impact, Jacky has received numerous awards including being named one of the Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology by the National Diversity Council and ranked #1 on the 2022 UK Powerlist of most powerful Black Britons. She holds a BBA degree in Computer Science and Accounting from Baruch College, Executive education from Stanford and holds honorary doctorates from The University of Bath and Aston University.
