Alec Jensen has a diverse work experience in the construction and development industry. Alec started their professional career with Henkel Construction Company in 2014 as a Superintendent Intern. In 2015, Alec joined Russell Construction & Development as a Project Manager Intern. After completing their internship, they returned to Russell Construction & Development in 2017 and served as a Project Engineer until December 2019. Alec then took on the role of Project Manager in the same company, where they currently work. Additionally, Alec has prior experience working at Dordt College as a Commons Student Manager from August 2013 to May 2017, where they managed a team of 15 students and ensured the smooth operation of the facility, serving approximately 600 students per meal.
Alec Jensen attended Dordt University from 2013 to 2017. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with majors in Construction Management, Finance, and a minor in Economics. In May 2016, they obtained certifications as a Procore Certified Associate and Procore Certified Engineer from Procore Technologies. In February 2018, they obtained a certification in Construction Quality Management for Contractors from the Corps of Engineers and Naval Facility Engineering Command.
