We’ve been dedicated to serving the education space for more than 30 years. Founded by Richard W. “Dick” Jones in 1987 as Dick Jones Communications, our goal from the start was to ease the burden on marketing and communications professionals at colleges and universities nationwide. Dick learned first-hand that these offices have many responsibilities beyond media relations, so he founded this firm to offer additional resources and capabilities to these hard-working teams. Scott Willyerd, president and managing partner, took the reins in 2011 and began the agency's transformation from a media relations provider into a full-service PR firm. Joined by Sean Rossall, CEO and managing partner, in 2016, the RW Jones Agency expanded the size and scope of its work, but the firm has always maintained that personal touch engrained in the company ethos at our founding. After adding Morrison & Tyson Communications to our family and bringing invaluable expertise to our team, the transformation into RW Jones is now complete. With locations in Pittsburgh, Los Angeles, Nashville and Keene, N.H., we’re prepared to serve clients from coast to coast.
