Shams Syed

Shams Syed, MBA PMP® CSCP, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in solutions engineering and financial analysis. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Solutions Engineering at RXO, Inc. since November 2022, Shams has held several managerial roles at XPO Logistics, Inc. since November 2016, including Solutions Engineering Manager and Pricing Senior Supervisor, where over 900 RFP responses were developed with a focus on value-based strategic pricing. Previous positions at XPO included Senior Financial Supervisor, Senior Business Analyst, Transportation Analyst, and Logistics Planner, contributing significantly to financial forecasting, project savings, and logistical planning. Additionally, Shams worked at Caterpillar Inc. as a Logistics Planning Specialist overseeing procurement and inventory management. Shams holds an MBA in Finance from the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University and a BA in Economics from the University of Illinois Chicago.
