Shlomi Aflalo has worked in the tech industry since 1998. Shlomi began their career as a Programmer and Computer Programming Instructor at the IDF Computer Professions Academy. In 2001, they joined the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) as a Software Development Division Manager (RAMAD), Software Performance Tuning Team Leader, Development Manager, and Senior Team Leader. In 2007, they joined eXelate as VP R&D, GM Israel, where they built and led the eXelate R&D team in Israel and managed a complex system running hundreds of servers worldwide. In 2013, they became Co-Founder & CTO of HelpAround. Since 2018, they have been the CEO & Founder of 5Blue Software, providing software development, outsourcing, and outstaffing services to tech companies.

Shlomi Aflalo completed a BA in Economics & Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University between 2002 and 2004. Prior to that, they attended the IDF Computer Professions Academy in 1998 and obtained a Programmer certification in Programming.
