Prior to Ryan, Gina was a Director at KPMG, overseeing the State and Local Tax Consulting and Controversy Practice from February 2016 to July 2022. Gina also contributed as Vice President of State Tax Policy and Chief Tax Lobbyist at the California Taxpayers Association from February 2011 to February 2016. Gina began a distinguished career at the Franchise Tax Board (June 1983 - June 1991) and worked as the California Tax Editor and Legislative Specialist at Spidell Tax Education from June 1991 to January 2011.
