Tanisha Yelaka

Tanisha Yelaka is a Project Engineer at Rycon Construction, Inc. since May 2023, with expertise in pre-construction and estimating for over 40 projects across various sectors, including Healthcare and Retail, valued up to $80M. Previously, Tanisha served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, contributing to educational technology initiatives focused on Virtual and Augmented Reality to enhance language learning and cultural understanding. Tanisha has held multiple roles in architecture and design, including positions at The Centre for Conscious Design, Rethinking The Future, and as a Junior Architect at RITES Ltd., and has completed an internship at Cohort X Designs LLP. Tanisha holds a Master of Science in Architecture Engineering and Construction Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s of Architecture from Visvesvaraya Technological University. Additionally, Tanisha participated in a program at the University of Adelaide.
