Calene Candela has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Calene began their career at Bank of America in 1986 as an Assistant Vice President in Commercial Lending, where they worked until 1990. Calene then joined Ryder System, Inc. in 1992 and held various positions in Financial Planning & Analysis, Pricing, and Field Finance until 1999. In 2000, they became a Senior Treasury Manager at Ryder System, Inc. and held the role until 2006. From 2007 to 2011, Calene served as an Assistant Treasurer at Ryder System, Inc. and later transitioned to the role of Group Director of Investor Relations from 2011 onwards. Calene also briefly held the position of Vice President of Investor Relations in 2023.
Calene Candela has an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a concentration in Finance.
