Ryan Houlihan is currently the Group Director of Engineering at Ryder System, Inc., where Ryan leads a team of 30+ engineers to build a transportation execution platform. Prior to their current role, Ryan served as the Head of Engineering at Baton, which was acquired by Ryder in 2022. Ryan has a background in robotics software engineering, having worked at Kinema Systems Inc. and Apple, where Ryan developed robotic systems for manufacturing. Ryan also has experience in research at Jet Propulsion Laboratory, focusing on wheeled mobility on granular terrains. Ryan holds a Master of Science in Robotics from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Physics from Temple University.
