Jim Claussen

Jim Claussen is an experienced financial leader currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Ryerson since July 2002, overseeing finance and administration for the Northern and Western U.S. Previously, Jim held the position of Portfolio Accounting Manager at NRG Energy, where responsibilities included providing financial results and managing financial partnerships. Jim also served as Manager of Sales Analysis at SUPERVALU, leading a team to deliver timely marketing information, and worked as Accounting Manager/Business Analyst at Cargill, conducting financial analysis and leading projects. Jim earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Strategic Management from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management and holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
