Jose Alberto Mendoza

Jose Alberto Mendoza, CPA, currently serves as Vice President and Corporate Controller at RYVYL since January 2024. Previously, as Global Controller at TuSimple, Jose oversaw the accounting and procurement controllership for a $330M+ global R&D operation, ensuring accurate financial reporting and participation in audit committee meetings. Jose has held key leadership roles at the University of Arizona Global Campus and Ashford University, focusing on strategic direction in accounting, SOX compliance, and financial oversight within organizations with significant annual revenues. Previous experience includes positions at Zovio and Bridgepoint Education, where responsibilities included managing extensive accounting activities and technical accounting. Early in the career, Jose gained valuable experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers, leading audits and contributing to significant firm revenue across diverse industries. Jose holds a Bachelor of Accountancy and Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of San Diego.
