Chris Gayomali

Chris Gayomali is an accomplished editorial professional with extensive experience in the media industry. Since November 2024, Chris serves as the Interim Managing Editor at SSENSE. Chris has been a Creative Consultant at C47 Creative since March 2021, providing services in copywriting and idea generation for notable clients such as Nike and CashApp. Prior to this, Chris held various editorial positions at GQ Magazine from April 2015 to May 2024, culminating in roles as Articles Editor and Senior Editor, overseeing the culture desk. Chris also worked as Culture Editor at Fast Company and Staff Writer, as well as Science and Technology Editor and Reporter for The Week.com and TIME Magazine, respectively. Earlier experience includes serving as an Editorial Assistant at the United Nations and a Technical Writer at CompPartners, Inc. Chris holds an MS in Digital and Print Publishing from New York University and a BA in English Education from UC Irvine.
