Kapies Vallipuram has over 10 years of experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Kapies is currently the Director of Software Engineering at SSENSE. Prior to their current role, they were the CTO & Co-Founder of Propty, where they led the strategic direction and technical development of an online property management software. Kapies also held the position of Director - Digital Delivery at Bell, where they developed and delivered digital platform solutions and strategic insights. Kapies previously worked at ALDO Group as the Director of Software Development - Digital Technology, leading the company's digital strategy and managing the software development processes. Kapies also served as a Software Development Manager at ALDO Group, responsible for overseeing the software development life cycle. Before joining ALDO Group, they were a Team Lead / Technical Advisor at BlackSwan Internet Ventures, where they built a successful development team and provided technical advisory services. Kapies began their career as a Senior Web Developer at Les Technologies Seedbox Inc. and as a Software Engineer at LRDG Language Research Development Group.

Kapies Vallipuram completed a Master of Software Engineering degree at Concordia University from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2012, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) degree in Software Engineering from the same university.
