Ernesto de Bary has a diverse work experience spanning various sectors. Ernesto is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at S1Gateway since December 2020. Prior to that, they were the Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Patagonia Capital Partners from July 2017. Ernesto also worked as a Mentor at Endeavor starting from May 2022.
Ernesto's previous roles include working at Humus Capital Partners as a Private Equity professional from September 2015 to June 2017. Before that, they worked at Lazard as an Investment Banking Associate from August 2013 to September 2015 and as an Investment Banking Analyst from August 2010 to July 2013. Ernesto also gained experience as an Equity Research Analyst (S&P Company) at CRISIL Global Research & Analytics from September 2009 to August 2010.
Ernesto started their career at San Fili (Farmfrites Supplier) in the Management Accounting Sector from February 2009 to July 2009. Ernesto also had an early internship experience as an Accounting Intern at Grupo Bemberg (Family Office) from March 2008 to December 2008.
Ernesto de Bary's education history begins in 2004 when they attended the Universidad de 'San Andrés' and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, specializing in Economics. Ernesto was ranked in the top 15% of their class. Ernesto continued their education in 2009 at the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, where they pursued a Master's degree in Finance and achieved a top 10% ranking. Alongside their Master's studies, Ernesto also obtained the certification of Certified Public Accountant from the Universidad de 'San Andrés', once again ranking in the top 15%.
In 2007, Ernesto spent a semester as an exchange student at Griffith University. While there, their field of study is unknown. Later in 2020, Ernesto attended the IAE Business School to complete a course in Advanced Transfer Pricing.
In addition to their formal education, Ernesto has obtained various certifications. Ernesto passed Level 1 of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) exam, administered by the CFA Institute, in June 2009. In 2001, they obtained certifications in French proficiency (DELF: A1, A2, A3, A4, A5 & A6) from Alliance Française Paris Île-de-France. Furthermore, they obtained certifications in English proficiency (CPE, CAE, FCE) and the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) from the University of Cambridge in January 2001.
