Sasitha Jayaneth

Sasitha Jayaneth is an accomplished Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in engineering design and project management. Currently employed at SA Power Networks, Sasitha focuses on engineering design and technical services for substations. Previous roles include Specialist Project Engineer at BHP, managing project engineering for fixed plant asset remediation, and a decade at Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) as Project Electrical Engineer and Energy Management Engineer, leading green power development projects and enhancing energy efficiency. Early career experiences include positions at Ericsson as a Switch Implementation Engineer and at ZTE Corporation as a Trainee Engineer. Sasitha holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical & Information Engineering from the University of Ruhuna.
