Nur Mustafaoglu is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in bioengineering and nanotechnology. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Sabanci University and a Researcher at the Sabancı University Nanotechnology Research & Application Center since January 2021, Mustafaoglu has previously held the role of Postdoctoral Fellow at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering from September 2017 to September 2020 and worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Notre Dame from August 2012 to September 2017. Educational achievements include a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of Notre Dame, an M.Sc. in Nano Science and Nano Engineering, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Physics Engineering and Molecular Biology and Genetics from Istanbul Technical University. Additional experience includes teaching at Istanbul Technical University and conducting internships focused on magnetic materials and protein interactions at various prestigious institutions.
