Matt McKnight has a diverse range of work experience spanning over 25 years. Matt most recently served as the Vice President of Business Development at Saber Interactive, starting in November 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant in Corporate Strategy M&A at IGT from 2013 to 2017. From 2011 to 2013, Matt was the Studio Manager for 3rd Party at Aristocrat Technologies | EMEA, where they built an internal studio and led the integration of casino products on various platforms. Before that, they were the VP of Product Development at Scorent from 2010 to 2011. Matt also held the role of Studio Director at Turbine in 2008, where they supported the development efforts for games like Asheron's Call and Lord of the Rings. Matt was also the President & Owner of Sniper Studios from 2005 to 2008, where they built a variety of games for SEGA, Leap Frog, and Turbine. Matt started their career in the gaming industry as a QA tester at Sega of America, Inc. in 1994. Before that, they worked in the stock brokerage industry as a Stock Broker at Lehman Brothers. Overall, Matt McKnight has a strong background in the gaming industry, with experience in business development, strategy, studio management, and product development.
Matt McKnight attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1988 to 1992. Matt obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science during this time.
