Jean Yap - McNamara has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jean started their career in 1993 as a Night Auditor, Front Desk, Room Service Supervisor, and Reservations staff at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company L.L.C. Jean then worked at Schematic as an Interactive Production Manager and Designer from 2003 to 2007. Jean also worked as a Freelance Flash Designer at Trailer Park in 2007. Jean joined Ignited Minds as a Senior Interactive Designer in 2007 and continued in the same role until 2013. In 2012, Jean became a Senior Interactive Mobile Designer at Mobile Theory, Inc. a division of Opera Mediaworks. From 2014 to 2016, they served as an Art Director at Opera Mediaworks (later rebranded to AdColony). Jean then moved on to AdColony as an Art Director from 2017 to 2017. Currently, Jean is the Head of Creative at Sabio Inc. since February 2022.
Jean Yap - McNamara attended the Art Institute of Los Angeles-Santa Monica from 2000 to 2003, where they earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Multimedia and Web Design. Prior to that, from 1989 to 1993, they attended the Hotel Management School - Les Roches - Switzerland, majoring in Hotel Restaurant Management.
