Varun Parthiban R is a Mechanical Engineering student at Loyola-ICAM College of Engineering and Technology, expected to graduate in 2025. Varun has gained valuable experience through various internships, including a current role as a Product Development Intern at Ashok Leyland since July 2024, and previous internships focused on innovative projects in engine development and structural analysis. Varun has also contributed as a Lean Manufacturing Intern at Sterling Solid Tyres (P) Ltd and held a position as a Mechanical Engineer for Team Turbonites LICET, where significant work was done on bicycle dynamics and structural analysis using ANSYS Mechanical. Additional involvement as a Student Member of SAEINDIA complements Varun's commitment to professional growth in the engineering field.

SAEINDIA is one of the few professional engineering societies whose membership represents practically every engineering and scientific discipline. Its members combine their specialized abilities to further advance the research, development, design, manufacture, and utilization of vehicles operating on land, water, air & space. Itis an affiliate society of SAE International, registered as an Indian non-profit engineering and scientific society dedicated to the advancement of mobility community in India.[1] As an individual member-driven society of mobility practitioners, SAEINDIA comprises members who are Individuals from the mobility community, which includes Engineers, Executives from Industry, Government Officials, Academics, and Students. Principal emphasis is placed on transport industries such as automotive, aerospace, and commercial vehicles.
