Rose Thiga is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in strategy, operations, and corporate development. Currently serving as the Head of Strategy at Safaricom PLC since April 2022 and hosting the Shaping Africa Podcast, Thiga’s previous roles include Chief Operating Officer at PayGo Energy, where a significant expansion of the global installed base was achieved, and General Manager of Kenya at PayGo Energy. Prior experience encompasses leadership positions at BAP Africa, Simba Corporation, PwC, Ametek, Credit Suisse, SunGard, and Deloitte. Thiga holds an MBA in Finance and Management from The Wharton School and a BSBA Cum Laude in Accounting, Economics, and Information Systems from Drexel University.
