Joseph Metzinger

Joseph Metzinger is a seasoned technology leader currently serving as the Head of Innovation at SafeBase since its acquisition by Drata in September 2023. With extensive experience as a Board Member and Advisor and as the Founder and CTO at Mozio Group since December 2011, Joseph built the initial backend infrastructure using Python/Django and played a key role in migrating to AWS. Prior to SafeBase, Joseph was the Founder and CTO of Stacksi from December 2020 to September 2023, where the architecture was built on AWS with technologies such as CloudFormation and Terraform. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and has also participated in Y Combinator.
