Vera Sazonova

Vera Sazonova has a wealth of experience in the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence. Vera began their career in 2006 as a Postdoctoral Fellow at McGill University's Department of Physics. In 2009, they became a Research Associate at the NRC-IMS. From 2011 to 2014, Vera was a Research Associate at Dalhousie University, where they explored the use of distributed word representation models in text mining and classification of the presence of hate speech vs. peace speech in tweets. In 2016, they began working as an AI Consultant for Kobalo and a NLP Research Engineer for Keatext. From 2018 to 2019, Vera worked as an AI Researcher for Automat.ai and a Senior Machine Learning Engineer for WinningMinds.ai. Currently, Vera serves as Vice President of EMANSO Technologies, Inc. and Senior Machine Learning Engineer for SafeGraph.

Vera Sazonova received their B.S. in Physics and Computer Science from the University of Mississippi in 2000. Vera then went on to Cornell University and obtained their Ph.D. in Physics in 2006.
