Karen Liska, JD, SHRM-SCP, serves as the Director of People Operations at SafeSend since March 2024 and has maintained a consultancy role at Launch Consulting and Media, LLC since January 2014, where support is provided to individuals, business owners, and CEOs in executing their visions through various services including training, legal compliance, and strategic planning. Previously, Karen established the In-House Counsel role at Detroit Labs, advising executive leadership on legal matters from October 2019 to March 2024. Academic experience includes roles as Adjunct Professor and Director of Undergraduate Business Programs at Lawrence Technological University, where courses in business law and management principles were taught. Early career experience includes serving as Associate Attorney at Mantese & Rossman, P.C., and as a Judicial Intern at the Michigan Supreme Court. Karen is an alumna of Wayne State University Law School with a JD and holds a BS in Humanities and Psychology from Lawrence Technological University.
