A Chartered Accountant by education, Tejas Parulekar spent 2 years with Ernst & Young and went on to work for esteemed companies like ICICI and HSBC. She often reminisced the holidays she would take as a child in beautiful heritage homes across the country. The seeds to build a company that unlocked such gems were sown during a long sabbatical she took to take care of her two kids. The idea of SaffronStays finally took shape on a holiday in Europe, when she realized how flexible and convenient their stay as a family was when they opted for boutique B&Bs and apartments.
Her aim is to take SaffronStays across the length and breadth of India, and cover every vacation destination where Indians travel; on a global level from Sri Lanka and South-East Asia to all countries in the west.
