Adam Binch

Adam Binch is a highly skilled Senior Robotics Engineer at SAGA ROBOTICS, specializing in the development of the Thorvald robot, which utilizes UV-C treatment to manage powdery mildew and perform various autonomous agricultural tasks. Previously, Adam served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Leeds, contributing to the Strands project, and worked as an Associate Research Scientist at IBEX AUTOMATION LTD, focusing on an autonomous weed spraying system for Less Favoured Areas. Early in the career, Adam held a position as a Security Operative at The University of Sheffield Students' Union. Adam's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Psychology, a Master’s Degree in Cognitive and Computational Neuroscience, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, all obtained from The University of Sheffield.
