Max Hames is a seasoned professional in the distilling industry, currently serving as the Director of Distilling Operations at Sagamore Spirit since September 2016. Previously, Max held the position of Distillery Operations Manager at the same company and worked as Assistant Distiller at One Eight Distilling from January 2015 to September 2016. Earlier experience includes roles as Deckboss on the fishing vessel Karen II and as COO and Co-Founder of Industry City Distillery, along with positions in sales and marketing. Max's career began as a Deckhand on the Ruth M. Additionally, experience in business development was gained as an intern at Landmark Ventures. Max holds a degree in Psychology, Sociology, and Anthropology from Middlebury College, obtained in 2008.
