Ahmed Syed

Ahmed Syed is an Associate, Investor Relations at Sagard and joined the firm in 2020. Ahmed is responsible for all aspects of investor relations at the firm including the management of investor reporting, fundraising, due diligence, and other related matters across each of Sagard’s businesses and strategies. Ahmed is based in Toronto, Canada.

Prior to Sagard, Ahmed was an Associate at CIBC Capital Markets where he supported the Equity Derivatives trading desk, assisting with structured notes origination and relationship management. Ahmed began his career at UBS Securities where he was an Analyst focused on Institutional Equities trading.

Ahmed holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management (BAFM – Honours, Co-op) from the University of Waterloo.
