Leo Liu

Leo Liu is an Analyst, at Portage Ventures at Sagard and joined the firm in 2021. As a member of Portage, Leo invests in early-stage and growth-stage fintech opportunities globally. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including origination, due diligence, execution, and portfolio management. He is based in Montreal, Canada.

Prior to Sagard, Leo interned in Private Equity at Novacap where he worked on leveraged buyouts in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector. Prior to that, he completed a Finance internship at Procter & Gamble (P&G) where he helped assess strategic initiatives.

Leo graduated from Concordia University with a B.Com. in Finance (with distinction).
