Robin Tessier

Robin Tessier is a Partner and Head of Canada Products and Solutions at Sagard and joined the firm in 2022. Robin is responsible for designing investment products distributed through wealth management platforms, and large-scale retail distribution networks and developing tailored investment solutions for large institutional investors. Robin works in close collaboration with Sagard’s investment leaders and the Investor Relations team and is based in Toronto, Canada.

Prior to Sagard, Robin was a Managing Director, Global Markets at BMO Capital Markets where he was responsible for originating, structuring, and distributing innovative financial products to retail investors across a range of asset classes and portfolio managers. Prior to that he was an Executive Director in the Financial Institutions Investment Banking Group at CIBC Capital Markets and practiced as a corporate and securities lawyer at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP.

Robin holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College, an LL.B. from Queen’s University Faculty of Law, and is a CFA charter holder.
