Alberto Pepe

Alberto Pepe is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in product management, strategy, and innovation. Currently serving as the Vice President of Technology at Sage Bionetworks since April 2024, Alberto previously held the position of Director of Strategy and Innovation at Wiley from March 2018 to November 2023, where responsibilities included product positioning, partnership building, and corporate strategy development. Prior to Wiley, Alberto was the Director of Product Management at Atypon and co-founded Authorea, leading the startup's development and management. Alberto's academic background includes a postdoctoral associate position at Harvard University, focusing on computational astrophysics, complemented by a PhD in Information and Data Science from UCLA and various research roles at prestigious institutions such as CERN and Los Alamos National Laboratory.
