Zoë Leanza

Zoë Leanza is a skilled communications professional with extensive experience in managing internal and external communications for multiple NIH-funded programs at Sage Bionetworks since December 2018. As Communications Manager, Zoë develops outreach plans, engages in user research for data visualization tools, and collaborates on strategic communications initiatives. Prior roles include Scientific Community Manager, where Zoë enhanced collaborator engagement in neurodegenerative research, and Education Specialist with the Peace Corps, where Zoë developed an English curriculum and conducted community needs assessments in rural Ethiopia. Other experiences encompass positions with USAID, Macalester College, Reach The World Online, and additional research and outreach roles, all underpinned by a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Anthropology from Macalester College.
