Donald Searing has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Donald began their career as the Owner of Taknosys Software from 1994 to 1996. Donald then served as the Chief Knowledge Engineer/President of Taknosys Software Corporation from 1997 to 2000. From 2000 to 2002, they were the Manager of Application Development at Primen. Donald then worked at Connecture, Inc. where they held the positions of Technical Lead/Senior Developer from 2003 to 2003, and Manager of Architecture from 2003 to 2005. In 2005, they became a Managing Consultant at Sagility and held that role until 2012. At Sagility, they also served as the Senior Director of Product Development & Evangelism from 2012 to 2018, Senior Director of Sales & Marketing from 2018 to 2019, and Senior Director of Solutions Architecture from 2019 to 2020. Currently, they are the Vice President of Product & Solutions Architecture at Sagility. Additionally, from 2009 to 2019, they were the Founder & Principal Scientist at Syncere Systems, where they led research in multi-agent simulation environments and agent architecture.
Donald Searing obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University between 1990 and 1994. Donald then pursued their Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the same institution from 1994 to 2000.
